Seriously when has that ever worked?

The Canucks historically regardless who the GM is, always gets lousy schedules.

It has to be brought up at the BOG meetings. And I doubt even that will help.

I’m guessing it has to do with building availability. Does Rogers Arena typically have concerts or other events booked during this time of year?

Well, according to SportsNet, we're 26th.

I am hoping the Canucks prove them wrong and come flying out of the gate for a change.

That is ridiculous. There’s 32 teams. They should be in that 18-22 range.

If we get blown out tonight for the third straight game, serious consideration should be given to player, trainers, coaching, GM and ownership changes.   Oh, and did I mention a new mascott too (sorry Fin).............? 🧑‍⚖️

Laughable comment. Did you even watch last nights game ?

The Oilers pretty much iced their opening night roster.

I think that the Krak will take a step back this season, and will become orca food in the process. hd orca GIF

Hopefully, but I don't know about that. Very similar team as last year. Though they did lose Soucy. Yup!

They definitely overachieved last year

Did they or are they just well coached team with some hard working, good young talent? I guess we'll see but I think they'll be strong again. They are fast, intense, and have a good make-up, but they are lacking experience.

It's going to probably be a weaker lineup tomorrow. My guess, if they don't use anybody that played tonight, is it will look something like this.

Phil Di Guiseppe - JT Miller - Brock Boeser

Anthony Beauvillier - Pius Suter - Vasily Podkolzin

Tristen Neilson - Chase Wouters - Linus Karlsson

Aiden McDonough - John Stevens - Josh Bloom

Ian Cole - Filip Hronek

Matt Irwin - Noah Juulsen

Akito Hirose - Filip Johansson

Thatcher Demko

Nikita Tolopilo

Hopefully that second line, specifically Podkolzin can show something. Rather see Garland in the top 6 going into the season.

There is still time but one of Podkolzin or Hoglander needs to show that they are capable of playing on that 3rd line.

Garland/Mikheyev - Pettersson - Kuzmenko

Garland/Mikheyev - Miller - Boeser

Beauvillier - Suter - Podkolzin/Hoglander

Aman - Blueger - Studnicka/Joshua
