Willander isn’t even close to ready. Folks that watched him closely at the Prospect Camp this Summer will tell you that. He can skate like the wind, but that’s the only part of his game NHL caliber right now. Puck handling especially needs work. Let him cook in college hockey.

He needs to get bigger and stronger.

I wonder what we will hear post-game tonight. Exhibition doesn’t mean there should be any less compete.

Three games on the road with a partial roster playing home teams with near full time rosters. Let's see how we look at home with our near full time roster before panicking.

This is about the only rational/objective thing that's been said here in terms of looking for positives.  Let's hope it's true....at least it won't take us long to find out.

Where do you see any excuse in my post? Lol. If you don't like the team, don't watch.

You said we haven't seen the whole roster together yet. That's an excuse. I love peoples argument when they finish off saying don't watch if you don't

like it. Like they have that right. Lol. Too funny.

From this I hope guys like Garland and other depth/role players can fetch more defense.

Canuck got the tools but that blue line needs to be built. Hughes needs help.

Soucy is fine.

Hronek is good too.

Cole is adequate as well.

McWard has a bright future.

We just need an upgrade over Myers.

Podkolzin has been very disappointing. Just can't seem to get an identity. Hronek and Garland look good. Boeser, meh. Kind of done with him, if he's not on the PP he's damn near useless.

Real talk though. Podkolzin playing in a top 6 role without 5 other top 6 guys was never going to work. Ease your prospects in don't throw them to the wolves. This record just keeps fuckin skipping...
