They wanted to control the narrative in regards to Canucks socials so they shut it down and were caught off guard by both the backlash and the subsequent creation of this forum, which caused a massive drop in traffic to their website. They didn’t know what to do. They couldn’t undo their decision because users had already moved here, and they had no authority over this new forum. So they did nothing.
