This was a cheap option for puck moving D….. a shame we could not get a deal like this done.

There's no proof that he would've signed that here. We have no money too. I think management has done very well so far - and I'm not one of those posters who will just blindly praise management. If they did good, they did good. If they did a shitty job, I will make sure to call it out.

Meh for depth options there wasn’t a whole lot to choose from.

Kylington may provide good value but he’s still just a third pair guy.

I think Shattenkirk or Schultz would be good options for what we need.

Not sure why the Canucks missed out on this guy.

Could've been a pretty good gamble for him to bounce back.

Sigh...too bad.

Might be able to find a comparable Zadarov deal again mid season. The reason we got Zadarov for so cheap was because the Canucks could afford the deal with no salary going back and no retention. Saving that last bit of money we got means we shouldn’t have to pay extra to have somebody retain on a contract.

If he was of interest being small, Allvin has talked to him. Sweden is a small country so we’re almost neighbours everyone. 😉

Hoglander for Broberg, you do it?

I don't know. Hoglander had a career year last year and Broberg has yet to show that at the NHL level but is in a position at defense that typically takes more time to develop.

So I guess Hoglander's more of a sure thing while Broberg's higher risk higher reward? I'm on the fence.

That being said, I will acknowledge that you have to give value to get value.
