Wing
RIP Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau. I despise anyone who DUI. No different than carrying a knife and swinging it randomly in my opinion. Selfish and irresponsible. 1

chris12345
I logged on here to see what's going on and I noticed Craig MacTavish is going into the Oilers hall of fame and then I noticed this. Absolutely heart breaking. 1

Rick Grimes
Fucking horrible news. Don't drink and drive. Not even if you "feel ok" cab, uber, or just skip the bullshit and have a drink at home with loved ones and friends so you don't have to go anywhere. Tragic, RIP
Bell
Wow. So sad. RIP young man. Just a horrible thing to read before heading to work. Thoughts to the family and Blue Jackets. This really sucks
88Canuck
I started seeing posts about this last night, but I was hoping it wasn’t true. When I came on here / X this morning and saw it was confirmed, I almost puked. What a tragic loss! And, he’s married with a young family. I have a young family myself, so this hits close to home for me. It puts things into perspective…things can change in a life altering way in a snap of the fingers. RIP to him and his brother and my thoughts are with his family during this extremely hard time. P.S. If it was a drunk driver, it just shows people yet again what the consequence's could be for drinking and driving. Not only could you ruin your own life, but the life of others. This isn’t just hitting a lamp post that can be replaced, it’s people’s lives…the most precious thing there is and when it’s gone, it’s gone. That should be enough for people to make the right decision and either not drink or find a safe way home, so yourself and everyone make it home, especially to their families!

I don't ever think drinking and driving is acceptable but there's drinking and driving and there's drinking and driving extra dangerously. Like come on.

Roger Neilsons Towel
What a tragedy. They were supposed to be groomsmen for their sister’s wedding today and Johnny’s wife a bridesmaid. I can’t even imagine the pain for their entire family right now. So very sad. 3 7
flat land fish
What horrible irony they do the right thing go for a bike ride rather than chugging beers at a night before a wedding and their life ends at the hands of a drunk. RIP JG

iinatcc
I heard about this in my social media feed. I thought it was a typo or some sort of joke. That is horrific, reminds me of what happened to the Humboldt Broncos team.
