I will admit that my initial post up top is largely based on anecdotal, speculative, or semi-unconfirmed reports that I have read over time. With this in mind, my post was of a gotcha or “like” garnering nature. I truly believe that most people can learn from mistakes and be better - I have made many and have to believe this to live comfortably with and respect myself for who I am now. So I am going to take this opportunity to learn more and be mindful of my speech. I am not giving him a pass at this time; I’m just acknowledging that ignorance serves no one and words hold power.
