Edler to retire a Canuck, be celebrated by Canucks

Eddie man, he was my favorite Canuck for a long time.

Been a blessing to have a player from my hometown playing for the Canucks. Jonathan Dahlen would have been #2!

At his peak he was an outstanding player and was probably underrated by most outside of Vancouver. Great human being who had a great career. Hopefully I'll bump into him at some point to shake the mans hand.

This is our "provinces" flag, Canucks colors baby.

Great flag 😀

I always believed you were from Timrå through your name.

Timrås delta is so famous in Timrå. 🤪

I think I thought it sounded pretty badass when I was about 13-14. No idea where I got the "delta" from but indalsälven would be a good namesake.

Might need a refresh, I even got a pic of Zads going still..

If Timrå wins the season series against Modo this year I'll let you choose my profile picture for a month

Another 3rd rounder in D Petey kind of reminds me of Edler.  At least so far as being 6’4 physical Swedish defensemen drafted in the 3rd round.

Might not have the point highs Edler hit, but he sure looks solid.

Happy enough to have Edler retire a Canuck - him and Tanev did heroic work as a top pair during some abysmal years.
