We live in the craziest timeline.

Also, Fk Maduro. Let the Venezuelian people have their freedom.

I saw this same type of shit a few months bacK

Musk and Zuck were supposed to have a go, but...nope cancelled.

Muskovite will get more clicks on his twatter account, and bill his own company for the extra advertising revenue it got.

Musk recently challenged Zuck again.

Zuck brushed it off, responded with "Are we really doing this again?".

He knows Musk is full of crap and doesn't want to play games.

US recognizes Gonzalez as the winner of the election.

Wonder if Canada has done the same. (We should)

We may now realize the “possible “ reasons of RuZ subs in Cuba,

Dropping off Commanders , and arms?

Within 2 days of the election, 32 planes from Cuba arrived in Venezuela

They brought soldiers from the Castro regime.

This is Avispas Negras (The Black Wasps), special forces of the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces, patrolling the streets of Venezuela

In Mali, rebels have reportedly destroyed 84 elite Wagner mercenaries, marking the largest loss for them since their deployment in the country. Additionally, the rebel group claims to have killed 47 Malian soldiers during the battle in Tinzaouaten.

Basically a non-statement. Ugh.

A population attempting to peacefully free itself from authoritarianism & this is the best we can do.. Our govt can be spineless.

"look, over there"  points in a direction

"No, not there, I meant over there"- points in different direction

"What, why are you looking there, when I really meant-look over there"- sweeps arms in outward fashion

"Oh man you are still not looking in the right direction'

note- never, ever points to themselves.

What would you prefer, a declaration of war?

Jesus can we stop bitching about every single thing this government does?

This is a Canadian story, but Canada is part of the world....

As residents, the B.C. government and First Nations prepare for water to surge through a landslide blocking the Chilcotin River, officials are warning of unpredictable water conditions along the Chilcotin and Fraser rivers.

At a Friday afternoon news conference, Emergency Management Minister Bowinn Ma said current modelling shows water is more likely to go over the top than burst through in a sudden release.

Ma says the impacts downstream could still be significant depending on the distribution of the overtopping flow, and people along the Chilcotin and the connecting Fraser River may need to leave the area.

Ma says it would take 12 to 24 hours for water and debris from the dam to reach Hope, B.C., about 500 kilometres away.

The lake behind the dam has grown to 11 kilometres long. Ma said a new estimate of the length of the blockage is about 1,000 metres along the river.

She asked B.C. residents to stay away from the Chilcotin and Fraser riverbanks and to refrain from boating on these bodies of water.

"It's not going to go crashing over and wipe out a town or anything like that. That's only in movies. This is real life," Chief Joe Alphonse, the tribal chair of the Tŝilhqot'in Nation, told CBC News Friday. "But there will be a lot of debris that will flow, and the water is going to be really affected."

If you're wondering where the Chilcotin is, it's south and west of Williams lake.

More on the story in the link.

As opposed to just accepting everything they do quietly? Thats very in the spirit of the Democracy...

I'm not in the CanPoli thread constantly attacking them, I've not been in there for awhile, so don't put that on me. And I view this as an entirely non-partisan issue regardless.

I prefer leadership that opposes Communist dictatorships & is willing to say so when push comes to shove. Its not that big an ask.

Yet they can't even endorse a peoples clear struggle for freedom, and seeming victory, when many countries are because this leadership has no principals.
