Silovs save percentage was against top competition in pressure situation.  Happy lankinen is here but no need to crap on silovs

Just pointing to facts. Silovs, who has a very high ceiling, needs to develop more. Lankonen is an nhl guy who will refine his game. Smart signing by a winning organization

Mgmt HAS to plan for any/all contingencies. These players are all pros, & I'm sure accept the FO prepares(w/ additional bodies) appropriately & accordingly.

Why would any fans choose to poke holes in such simple reality?

Not all posters here are Canucks fans. Some are Habs, Coilers, Flsnes and other loser teams’ fans. They have to live in those loser cities. Alf feels sorry for them. Imagine being stuck in Alberta! My God! Is there anything worse? Maybe being a Habs fan is worse, but at least Montreal is a nice city.

I’m trying to get a petition going for the welcome to Surrey sign to include “Still better than Edmonton”.

Alf’s grand kids are stuck in Surrey (their father is a teacher out there. Not my fault!) Any visits are here, and not there. That’s for sure.

If management wonder's why fans don't trust them, this doesn't help. Wonder how long Demo will take to recover. (Gulp, if he recovers...)

We as a fans need recovery from Demer situation. At list we can breath again. If something, last year show us how important is start of the season for a team.

No. It’s because you’re a Smelly Coiler’s fan who isn’t able to accept that your club stinks and our club is better.
Just be honest and admit where your fandom truly lies.

It took whole 2 hours, from no goalies, to too many .We complain even in our dreams.Never happy.

Management was smart to wait him out. If he had a multi year offer or anything over 1 mil he would have taken it by now.

Sure he could have signed for more on a rebuilding team and been ventilated every night with crap defense in front of him. But what good would that do? Next offseason he’d be in the same place.

Im sure management sold him on opportunity. Look how it worked out for DeSmith. Landed himself a three year deal after playing here.

Hes gonna get a lot of games on a good team in order to boost his value for one last contract. And for the Canucks they get some much needed stability in net.

Win-win for both sides.
