But I'm also really high on this kid, especially considering his draft position.

MikeyD
Live game analysis part 2: Lekki has the tools but needs to move his feet more when he has the puck. Tends to become stationary but just doesn't have the strength or size to hold onto the puck against defenders in this situation which is likely why he sometimes looks great with the puck and other times really mediocre and doesn't generate as much at times. If he can keep his feet moving he can become really successful. Also the boys are out skating Edmonton and even though they're outmatched talent wise they're winning the battles and competing really hard. Solid solid effort through 2 periods. Glad to see Bains finally get one. Great pass from Sherwood. Also dunno how Hoggy got a roughing penalty lmao 1
Goose
Im really impressed by Lek. Still has some development to do but once he can handle the NHL rigor….he’s going to be a gamer. His commitment to off puck play is surprising. I wonder if Mikael Samuelsson really pushed him in that area.
VegasCanuck
We have some really difficult decisions to make on who goes to Abbotsford and who stays in Vancouver. Some of these guys are looking closer to NHL ready than I thought they were.

Lekkermaki needs a year in the minors. If this was 3 years ago he’d be on the roster for good or bad probably bad. I’m very excited about his future and I think that would be the best route 4

KFAN
Well, that's pretty damn impressive. Good speed, good passing, good checking and good defense. Not a top six on the Canucks and the kids and 3/4 stringers are doing awesome against most of Edmonton's power. Would be a real confidence booster if they win this game. So fun to watch. 1
