Who's left?

Top post shows the list that @Honkin Hronek is meticulously maintaining and @Optimist Prime is swapping in on the top post every day.

Edit, apparently @Lewlowned is also updating the list as well.  Sorry for the missed note!

I think it is fine to crosspost this list:  So injuries aside we have 13 healthy Forwards in camp, 8 healthy Dmen and 2 healthy Goalies. 23 healthy players is the team for now, unsure what happens to some bottom list guys as injured guys come back to form. Oh and the order is my own doing, nothing official.

Canucks Training Camp Roster

Forwards (15):

J.T. Miller

Elias Pettersson

Brock Boeser

Jake DeBrusk

Conor Garland

Nils Höglander

Arshdeep Bains

Danton Heinen

Pius Suter

Teddy Blueger - injured

Dakota Joshua - injured

Daniel Sprong

Aatu Räty

Kiefer Sherwood

Nils Åman

Defenders (9):

Quinn Hughes

Filip Hronek

Carson Soucy

Tyler Myers

Noah Juulsen

Vincent Desharnais

Mark Friedman

Derek Forbort
Akito Hirose - injured

Goalies (3):

Thatcher Demko -injured

Kevin Lankinen

Artūrs Šilovs

Detroit will claim Di Giuseppe to improve their bottom nine depth. Di Giuseppe also played on a line with current

Red Wings Copp and Motte at Michigan Uni. Had his most NCAA success on that line.

PDG is 100% gone.

Too bad he seemed to be a well liked guy that filled a role admirably.

you folks pretty certain about this?

i didn’t even consider PDG.

it would be a loss for us for sure.

Jeff Paterson thinks Nux might enter the season with only a 21 man roster and that Raty may end up in Abby and primed as first call up. Also thinks Suter has been very low key and doesn’t bode well as 3rd line C because his F/O record hasn’t been sufficient. Also doubts Blueger in that same role, which would mean Raty is potentially the best option sooner than later. It’s Paterson though so go figure.

To make it more interesting - Suter was out on a suspected injury watch

Did he get injured the last game?

“Vancouver Canucks forward Pius Suter was injured in last night’s preseason game and is being evaluated by the team’s medical staff (as per Canucks play-by-play voice Brendan Batchelor). Suter was banged up in a scrum with Edmonton Oilers forward Corey Perry after Perry dropped his gloves following a hit on teammate Connor McDavid. Suter tried to avoid the confrontation, which didn’t look all that physical but caused some discomfort for the 28-year-old. Suter is entering the final season of a two-year $3.2MM contract that he signed last summer and is expected to center the Canucks fourth line this season.“
