I don't think anyone on the team really looked good. Miller tried to throw away the game numerous times. Bambi is a ghost when not getting obliterated by an open window. Silovs couldn't stop a beach ball. Entire blueline is big and slow. Season isn't lost, but that game was hard to watch after the 1st.

Garland? Hogs? Same guys as last year.

This wasn't on Silovs. Most the goals he had no chance on.

Very very soft defending. They came out & flexed their talent then stopped competing as if it was pre-season.

Tocchet talked alot about 'not reading press clippings' last season, you wonder if that sort of entitlement creeped in after 20 mins.

They should be embarrassed by this. Hopefully it's just the early season wake up call they need.

Really? NHL goalie needs to stop four of the goals scored tonight.. not acceptable!

He needs to clean up how he handles shots from far out though, he wasn't good enough tonight. Want to see what Lankinen can do. Silovs could still benefit from another year in Abby.

Silovs got beat on two clean shots, one from the blue line. Unfortunately he has a weakness and it’s long shots. It’s apparent from the Oilers series, and even pre-season. Then he way over-committed in OT. The loss isn’t all on him but he didn’t make all the necessary stops.

Yeah it's not all on Silovs, but it's pretty obvious we are as weak in goal as the Leafs at the moment.

We cant sugar coat it, those distance shots are a weakness and it goes back a while.

Was a thing against the Oil too, teams are gonna be keying in on it

Be interesting to see how he rebounds, thankfully we have Lankinen in the wings

Not one dominant shift by him. I am getting tired of him just being a mediocre shooter and good passer. That’s what 11.6 gets us. He can’t deke or look dominant. It’s very concerning. It’s not just one game it’s the preseason too.

I think it is his stick. He chooses the longer one to be more aggressive with stick checking, but can not deke in close or shoot the puck anymore it seems

Watching Myers, Soucy, Forbort, and Desharnais attempt to break out of the zone or do anything with the puck is why they should call up Brannstrom.

Just call up Wolanin instead.

Definitely the worst game of the season.

Nux beat themselves.  Yes flames didn't quit.

Need to make adjustments

Chemistry not there

Win Fri vs Flyers.

With quite the few new faces, it will probably take few more games to get the chemistry going. I'm sure Tocchet will fix this.

Most he was screened on, we were standing around giving Calgary time. The Weegar one he should've had imo, the others you gotta defend better.

He wasn't the reason they lost.
