Ya, the knock against him has been his streakiness. The hope is he can develop good chemistry with Petey and that streakiness will go away. Miller was also considered a streaky player before he came to Vancouver.

If I can influence the NHL to change a rule I’d say you can only have one challenge per game whether you fail or not. That way coaches will have to actually think of it will be worthy and dumb thing like that won’t slow things down.

For sure he got 5.5 million per season because of the inconsistency. But if he’s a 70+ player man that’s a steal.

Just watched a documentary about making of the Wizard of Oz movie. That Judy Garland actress playing the girl smoked 80 cigarettes a day, given amphetamine pills to get energy during the shoot. Then given barbiturates to sleep.  By the time 17-year-old Garland finished filming Oz, she was already addicted to barbiturates and amphetamines.

Peterson needs to be hungrier to get that puck. It should be his puck when he is on the ice. He looks like he wants nothing to do with it right now. I am not sure what happened to his confidence. It’s so bizarre where did it go? Nothing happened really for it to leave.
