Yes, exactly. Also, destroying churches , schools and hospitals will only result in Hamas being more popular than ever. So it is a very poor strategy . I am posting this openly so everyone understands: the wording you used is inciting and baiting towards users here in the thread. It won't be tolerated. It is likewise not tolerable to say Palestinians are terrorists, just so i am perfectly clear.
moosehead
History will demonstrate that the extremists on both sides ( Hamas and Israel ) caused this conflict to exist for way too long. Caused all kinds of human suffering. The moderates will eventually lead each group to a peaceful resolution. Hopefully sooner than later. moosehead
For those that think Bombing Gaza will take out Hamas leaders.... Not going to happen sadly...... On October 7, as Hamas gunmen rampaged across southern Israel, a group of middle-aged men in a luxury suite in Doha, Qatar gathered in front of a camera. Hamas leaders, led by Ismail Haniyeh, recorded themselves showing surprise about the attacks from the news on a large-screen television, and then kneeling to give thanks to Allah for the success of the operation. This episode served as a reminder that while innocent civilians in Gaza die in their hundreds from aerial bombing and tens of thousands more are rendered homeless, Hamas's leaders exist above the fray in air-conditioned comfort 2,000 kilometres away as guests of Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani. https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/qatar-hamas-israel-1.6999416
moosehead
Innocent Palestinians, too, will pay the price, owing to their utility to Hamas as human shields when they are alive and as propaganda tokens when they are inevitably killed by Israeli strikes on Hamas targets in Gaza. By the end of the 10th day, the Gaza death had risen to 3,478, according to the Hamas-controlled Gaza Health Ministry. Most of the victims were children, women and the elderly, the ministry said. https://vancouversun.com/opinion/terry-glavin-the-palestinian-problem-is-not-israels-to-solve-alone/wcm/6c3a3dd1-e670-4aa2-b192-727ccac8effe

Heres one from this morning: IDF spokesman says everything changed on October 7, but live ammunition has been used against stone throwers (as noted earlier in this thread) long before the Hamas terrorist attack https://www.timesofisrael.com/palestinian-teen-shot-dead-by-israeli-troops-during-alleged-stone-throwing-attack/ And look, live ammunition used against children who aren't even throwing stones: https://apnews.com/article/israel-palestinians-west-bank-militants-jenin-1eb3c665247a493e90174b068fc39fec "The last video taken on Sadeel’s phone shows a similar military jeep moving along a dusty road some 200 meters (yards) from where she stood. It remains unclear whether it was the same jeep. Minutes after she posted the clip to Telegram, she was lying in her driveway, brain-dead. Two days later, she died." https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/9/21/palestinian-boy-discovers-undercover-israeli-forces-they-kill-him-dcip “As he left the house, Rafat saw Israeli special forces exiting three Palestinian licensed cars and surround the home of the father of a Palestinian man wanted for arrest. Rafat fled, yelling, ‘Special forces! Special forces!’ One Israeli soldier chased Rafat and shot him in the abdomen from a distance of 10 meters [33 feet],” DCIP said. The Israeli forces shot at Rafat again when a Palestinian man came to his aid, said the group, the only rights organisation specifically focused on children in Palestine." I hate to say this, but what kids parents would let their kids run up to fully armed soldiers and have them throw stones at them? Does this sound normal to you? Especially when they are in the middle of a war. I'm not trying to justify these soldiers firing rounds back, but these kids shouldn't be anywhere near these soldiers and it is the parents fault for having them roam the streets like that and act like idiots... Many of these kids don’t have parents, others are caregiving & working by the time they turn 10-11 years old to put food on the table. Remember we’re talking about a place with destitute poverty. also remember these kids are angry because they’ve watched Israeli soldiers kill their friends, or evicted their friends from their homes to make way for settlers. These kids are taking out their anger with stones, not knives and “Molotov cocktails” like Roman says. Instead of understanding that it created the hotbed of anger, Israel executes these kids in cold blood, and the soldiers don’t face charges. Instead the idea of using rubber bullets against these kids is called “nonsense” by the IDF spokesman. 4 minutes ago, Elias Pettersson said: Good luck getting a soldier in the middle of a war charged with murder. Like you said, they could just use rubber bullets. Having said that, it is up to the leaders to tell these kids not to do these kinds of things regardless of their anger as there could be dangerous repercussions. Just because you are angry, that doesn't justify doing something stupid or trying to "poke the bear". I've been angry at people lots of times. That doesn't mean I went out and physically tried to hurt the people who angered me...

Tsk Tsk that's just poor parenting right there and they should have known better. Good luck trying to get those terrorists charged with murder for these kids having a music festival in a potential war zone. Parents should have known better. The kids who attended the music festival didn't commit a crime. They were innocent bystanders. Kids throwing stones at armed soldiers are idiots and are "poking the bear".
