There is still room for these guys. There's still room for them if they can also play. I would consider the 3 best fighters still in the league to be MacDermid, Reaves, and Lucic. All three are on their way out the door. Reaves rarely plays more than 10 minutes, MacDermid is a #7 defenseman who only slots in when Colorado is worried a game might get physical, and Lucic (who was once arguably the best power forward in the game) is too slow to hit guys anymore and also about to retire. Guys like Foligno and Jeannot are the ones that are actually valuable. Even Deslauriers had over 100 more hits than Lucic or Reaves last season. Jack McBain is another guy that can throw 300 hits and have the odd scrap but can also PK. I haven't watched any Arizona games so not sure what is going on. Maybe Arizona is looking at moving him.
