Thats not smart team managment. A good coach would not allow for frequent blocks a block in hockey is seen as a last minute resort not an actual strategy. You'll injure your entire team very fast by asking them to get Into shooting lanes. Rangers success doing it looks good on TV but this isn't viable or sustainable this type of block centered approach won't last beyond first 12 to 15 games thus its a terrible tactic..
