Hire more refs? Other professional leagues do it, that are WAY more successful than the NHL, pretty sure the NHL could figure it out.

And guess what, it would only take a couple of times before the refs smartened up.

It's funny how hockey is that only profession where they just hire an abnormal amount of completely incompetent morons. Insane amount really. Like every time every single on of them is an idiot. How does that happen lol.

Nope...this ref's carrying baggage from last year. And that's ridiculous and shouldn't be allowed to happen. He's got it in for JT, who called him out last year. "Jailhouse rules".  He's upset...like a pissy 14 year old girl.

Anyhow, he's under the microscope now.

So how do you know that? This sounds like you're jumping to conclusions to suit your narrative, or you have a bias. Are you at the game or getting some kind of feed none of us are?

If you know a ref doesn't like you it's even more reason to keep your mouth shut.

That's good, but is it third party? I'd be wary of bias. There's a reason internal audits don't cut it for companies.

Nonetheless, good to know.  They should really make this information more publicly available. Don't need to air the dirty laundry of the refs, but fans would be more understanding if it was more publicly known that there was a process for this.

The best move would be to contract a third party to assess these things instead of doing it in-house.
