Love the kid. They both went at it for a bit and apologized to each other after. Jt came back and scored a goal. Deserves to play - he’s the emotional leader of the team. The rest are quiet and we need him. Sometimes his emotions go to far and that’s okay. He brings it back. We need him. - Need to ensure we can’t get fat and happy - When we build this thing, we can’t play like tonight - Benching JT was about accountability, but JT deserved to get back out in the 3rd, and his teammates were so happy for him - Hughes and Petey are producing and playing well defensively - Challenge with the leadership group, needs to let the game come to them, and not play river hockey. Don’t try to hit a home run every game -We’ve been really good last 3-4 games. We’ll review this one before SJS and Dallas -Demmer came up big in the third -Tried to force it tonight on the inside -loves Myers - After a really bad game, Myers texted RT and apologized. They had a walk together in Nashville, and he’s been really good since then. Really proud of him - Didn’t realize that was EP40’s first hatty at home. They thought they can get away from their systems and still win... They pulled out a win but not a formula for success if they do this too often. We just don't have the level of talent to play ugly hockey and win on a regular basis. Gotta stick to the systems and play a defense first game every night out.
