Jess Posted October 21, 2023 Share Posted October 21, 2023 Fun game. Podz had some off moments, but had some serious jump near the end of the game and his one-timer was NHL-calibre. We heavily outshot them, but a lot of our shots were without screens and right into Wolf's chest. Need to do better than that to beat the AHL's best goalie. Nielsen looked 100% concussed. I'd expect him to be out for a while. Abby D looked a bit oddly shaky at times. Calgary's defensive structure was amazing and very hard to penetrate. Know he can do it! Podz will be fine. He is only 22. This is good for him to get his confidence up. Look, he was either going to do well in Abby, or not to the level most expected at the NHL level.
