To me it looked the first point of contact was the collarbone area and then skipped up into his chin area......might be wishful thinking though

I was luckier....just above the right eye. Bled like a sumbitch, but 8 stitches and a couple of weeks for the swelling to go down and I was back after it.

 

The second time caught me right below the eye where it meets the nose. That one closed my eye completely for a month and turned every color of the rainbow before it was fully healed.
