The New Jersey Devils have announced their three stars for the month of October!

1st Star - Goaltender Jonas Johansson, leading the club with 85 fantasy points and earning two shutouts to date. Jonas joined the organization this offseason via Free Agency, he was given an opportunity where previously he was not afforded. To say he has grabbed it and run with his chance is an understatement. Congrats Jonas Johansson!

2nd Star - Forward William Karlsson, leading the Devils in scoring with 6 goals, 9 assists, and 15 points at the one month mark. Having a full camp under his belt this fall after coming to New Jersey midway through last season, William has been able to establish a key role with the club. Way to go William!

3rd Star - Forward Sean Monahan, tied for the team lead in goals with six. Sean has produced on the power play, provided shorthanded scoring and carved out a role here in New Jersey. Coming to the Devils this past offseason from Florida, Sean has showed early this season he can play an important role on the team. Nicely done Sean!

Dallas has 24 hours to create a roster space or place him on waivers to assign to the minors.

Marc Del Gaizo earns first NHL point in his first NHL game!

New Jersey Devils defenseman Marc Del Gaizo was called up to the big club on Saturday and faired quite well earning 18 minutes of ice time in a depth role, played a shift on the PK, earned 1 shot, 2 hits and 2 blocked shots, oh and earned his first NHL point assisting on Filip Forsberg's 1st period goal against the Oilers. A successful debut for the young man out of Basking Ridge, New Jersey.

The Devils signed the then undrafted defenseman in the summer Free Agency period of 2021 to a three year entry level contract. Marc has continued to develop his game in Atlantic city over the past two seasons to a point now where he can be relied upon as a call up option and push to establish himself at this next level. His playing style, that of an offensively inclined defenseman with excellent passing, transition and great skating ability fits the modern style of defenseman teams covet. Now as he plays more important minutes in Atlantic city he is just a phone call away to the big club and early into the season has already earned time with New Jersey.

The Dallas Star re-assign Logan Stankoven to the Okanagan Rail Trail (Waiver Exempt)

The Dallas Stars welcome Cal Clutterbuck to the Dallas Stars, and look forward to his added leadership within our veteran group and in helping our young stars achieve their full potential. (Clutterbuck to the active roster)
