What starting out as rumors quickly turned into reality. The Toronto Maple Leafs have moved on from hometown hockey phenom Connor McDavid. With McDavid gone it is now time to hand the reigns completely over to the most iconic trio of brother to ever play in the NHL. The Hughes brothers! In light of the trade that sent our captain packing, we will like to name a new captain's. Ladies and gentleman please welcome your new team captain... JACK HUGHES! And if you haven't already guessed, the A's will go to both Quinn and Luke! We couldn't be more happy to have these 3 young men lead Toronto for the next 15+ years (hopefully). We are very blessed to have all 3 on the same team. The chemistry is already showing. Luke may be young, but boy is he talented, and you'd think he was a vet with the way he's handled himself in the locker room. We can't wait to see these guys develop and hopefully bring us multiple championships. We have picked up a few solid pieces in the McDavid deal that we cannot disclose at this time pending league approval, and feel this move may just be the move we needed to help push us over the top this year. We still have plenty of room for improvement, but this was a big 1st step. We very much intend to compete for the GML cup this season.
