The Washington Capitals would like to congratulate Andrew Cogliano on his retirement.

Cogliano was a warrior and an iron man who showed up every night and worked his ass off. One of the fastest players in the league, and one of the most versatile role players, Cogs played 6 seasons in his prime with Washington and then one last season last year in pursuit of a cup. We wish him the best

Good morning from Buffalo!

Heading into the draft with only a 2nd round pick it doesn't look like we'll be too busy at the podium this year.

We have been in some trade discussion for Norris winning defenseman Adam Fox however.

If you're a team looking for a stud #1 dman on a cup contender signed long term to a below market value deal who isn't afraid to break the bank, you know where to find us!

*high upside young defenseman must be included whether that's a prospect or guy just breaking into the league

We have to qualify in thread now? Already qualified in agent PM but Colorado qualifies Jarvis I guess.

Don't HAVE to qualify in the thread, with your agent works just fine.  But if your player isn't listed in italics on your Rosters page, they're not marked as qualified, so if that's the case ask your agent to get in touch with me and let me know who is qualified so I can make the adjustment.

Posting in the thread works too, and it's quicker.  But either way works.

Dallas Stars are excited to have made a trade............

2024 9th OA Pick

for

Philidelphia's

Daniel Sprong

and

Brennan Othmann

We feel the future is now, and both players will help move the Stars into a new era.

GM JIAHN was heard saying after the trade, we gave up a real great piece in our 9th OA and feel it would be a 1st line player, when picked. It came together fast, and we appreciate the frank and honest discussion we had with GM Snapsot85. He is building a real nice team over there!

The Kings are thrilled with the results of the draft today, and it's not just because we landed Macklin Celebrini first overall - we had opportunities to make many different kinds of moves, but opted to stay pat and select the following haul:

C Macklin Celebrini (1st overall) - Boston (NCAA)

D Adam Kleber (53rd overall) - Lincoln (USHL)

D Noah Chadwick (65th overall) - Lethbridge (WHL) - [2023 6th Round Pick - TOR]

C Linus Eriksson (68th overall) - Djurgardens (SWE J20)

C Adam Jecho (87th overall) - Edmonton (WHL)

RW Carson Wetsch (90th overall) - Calgary (WHL)

D Matvei Shuravin (109th overall) - Moskva (MHL)

G Lukas Matecha (116th overall) - Tri-City (WHL)
