The Buffalo Bills have acquired Amari Cooper in a trade Tuesday with the Cleveland Browns, adding a true No. 1 wide receiver for star quarterback Josh Allen.

The Bills received Cooper and a 2025 sixth-round draft pick for a 2025 third-round pick and a seventh-round selection in 2026.

Cooper, 30, fills the No. 1 receiver void for the Bills that was opened when Buffalo traded Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans before the season.

Not sure how we fit AC under the Cap, but that's for management to figure out.

Looking at the injury report, it appears as though Shakir will be good to go, so Josh might have 2 wideouts to throw to....

Hmmm....I read that the Browns restructured Cooper's contract, so that most of it was signing bonus.....sounds sketchy AF, but it's good news for the Bills who are only on the hook for about $860k....

Browns moving ahead with plan for new dome stadium in suburbs

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/41851559/browns-moving-ahead-plan-new-dome-stadium-mayor-says

The Browns have informed the city of Cleveland of their intention to move forward on a new domed stadium in suburban Brook Park.

In a news conference Thursday at Cleveland's city hall, Mayor Justin Bibb expressed his disappointment in the decision by the Haslam Sports Group, which owns the Browns, to leave the current lakefront stadium.

"We must be practical about our many needs and resources," Bibb said. "The city's approach has always been rooted in fiscal responsibility and the long-term value for all members of our community. As such, I am deeply, deeply disappointed that our exhaustive efforts, that the Haslam Sports Group has chosen to pursue a move to Brook Park."

If that happens Stafford probably gone too

They need to go back to their old plan of trading players for picks and then sucking for a couple of years and trade their picks during that time to load up on good players to make another SB run.  It worked once for them, may as well try it again.

Stafford is gonna fall off a cliff sooner rather than later.  Get what you can get for him while you still can.
