  1. 1. Will the Canucks Land a fLames Player?

    • Yes, Chris Tanev but only if the Canucks give up a 4th round pick or less - he's a rental after all.
      18
    • Yes, the other Giraffe on D (Russian one this time), but only if he agrees to a trade / sign deal that isn't longer than 4 years
      12
    • Never!!!!! Flames won't trade within Western Conference unless it is Tanev for Pettersson or something like that.
      28
    • #3 aside (Petey), yes, but only if it is more than the Canucks (or any other team) would be willing to pay ... DON'T DO IT Allvin!
      10
  2. 2. Where will the Canucks Big 4 Finish! Multiple Choice Allowed here.

    • Boeser will win the Rocket Richard ... pfffftttt pffffttttt, it is BC after all
      3
    • Boeser will hit the top 3 in goals scored but sadly not the RR trophy
      16
    • Petey will win the Hart Trophy and/or lead the league in points ... once he gets back to 100% health, watch the F out
      19
    • Huggy will grab the Norris but sadly will not match Bobby Orr and become only the second D-man to lead the league in scoring
      40
    • Miller will pull an Oven-Chicken and score 50+ goals while possibly leading the league in hits by a top 6 player
      17
    • Chaos Giraffe will win the Lady Bing, just not on the Canucks
      3
    • BWHAHAHAHAAAA ... none of the above, see my comments below

Rick Tocchet on the Mikheyev-Pettersson-Kuzmenko line: That line has to push the pace. I don't like the word slow, but they're trying to play too methodically. They have parts of their game that are like "wow", but they have to push the pace--- Sportsnet650

On thing I have noticed about Mik is that he seems to space out now and again.

I often notice he is not ready to receive a pass.

Big game, we have had it rough since Soucy went down.

I think the Soucy injury has highlighted a need for one more NHL level dman. The boys are going to need to step up until then.

San Jose while being a good team to earn some points and a little confidence, still has NHL players and an NHL goalie, so no taking them easy.

Im feeling a big game for Petey, he thrives against these defensively weak teams.

Am expecting the Miller line to play another solid game, they have just been so consistent this year.

Also hoping to see the depth forwards get on the scoresheet.

Its time to prove we are still well ahead of teams like San Jose. Go Canucks Go!!!

I don't think we're getting Zad so we should look elsewhere.  With Wolanin out we're really thin on defensive defenseman. We've got prospects but their all a couple years away.

Canucks would be competing with SJ if they lost Hughes or Hronek for any extended time.

Nah. Compare the rosters.

The Canucks were too good to tank even last year icing that pile of dog  crap on the back end.

Hronek played like 5 games, Mikheyev was shut down, OEL was out, etc. and they were still no where near a San Jose dumpster fire.

How is he getting lowballed? He was given a chance last game and clearly the coaching staff feel better putting Friedman/Juulsen in.

Juulsen is a -4, Hirose is a +1..Might not mean much but he showed some goodness last season, Deserves a chance.

Hirose getting low-balled , Dude deserves a chance.

He was... not great last game. Few times watching him blast into the ozone get caught up ice, flying back and then blowing by his dzone coverage net front. Was like BRO WHERE U GOIN!!? Leave the chaos to the giraffe if you want to make this team.
